"The Great Demon Warlord" War Of The Minds pt. 1

[Vegeta]

Red and Sano use Red's mirror shield to block of some of the Hell Bullets before finally being overcome by the power.

Magnus leans backwards to avoide the nyoibo. He watches Goku's flips with little fascination.

MAGNUS: "SUCH A CHILD."

In response to the other attack he raises a single arm defesively.

Magnus raises his hand to the sky and a ball of black energy begins to collect from many various directions.

MAGNUS: "FEAR POWERS MY FLAMES!"

Magnus fires his "Fear Cannon" at Goku and friends.

RED: "Th' hell?!"

SANO: "That's not good at all!"

Sano uses his Shunkan Idou to move behind Magnus and he tries to pummel him with a a barrage of punches. No result.

SANO: "....!"

[Tasuke]

In a flash, the enormous Nyoibo dissapears and reappears in Goku's hands, resuming it's usual size. Goku jams the Nyoibo into the ground, and extends it, vaulting over the attack. While still air-bourne, he swings the still extended Nyoibo downwards at Magnus, while coming down, it grows in size, for best bashing results.

[FrostXero]

*Frost thanks Sano for the teleportation to a place out of the range of the attack. Before he was able to finish his sentance he is interupted by Mangus. He turns his head to watch Mangus makes a swipe with his sword producing several enormus flames.*

FrostXero: Shit!

*Just before the attack hits frost he puts up a barrier around him and the incapaitated caine in his hands.*

FrostXero:Agh! HOT! HOT! HOT!

*As the attack passes Frost puts down his barrier and drops to his knees panting heavily.*

FrostXero:Damn! that attack nearly screwed me over!

*Frost then hears two screams. He turns his head to see Sano reverting back to human form.Also he sees Red backing away from goku as he turns back into the deamon who broke Caine's jaw*

FrostXero: KYA! What did you do that for! Didn't you see wha...

*Frost is interupted by Mangus again. Then comes the barrage of energy balls again.*

FrostXero: Oh shit!

*Frost teleports behind Mangus out the way of the Renzoku Jigoku Dan.*

FrostXero:Damn I can't keep this up! Im runnign out of power!

Kira:Well try the power that caine is wasting by recovering!

FrostXero: Wha! who the hell was that.

Kira: Frost It's me Kira. When Caine was knocked unconsious, He was in a Chiryoku state meaning he was using the combined power of me and him together. While hes unconcious he's only using his natural power to recover.

FrostXero: SO THAT LAZY BUM HAS A PILE OF UNUSED ENERGY WHILE HE'S PRACITCALLY HIBERNATING!

Kira: Technically,Yes.

FrostXero: THEN PASS THAT UNUSED ENERGY TO ME!

Kira: As I was gonna do!

*Just as Kira finishes her words Caines body glows with a bright glow.Just as his body fully illimates a powerful beam comes out of caines eyes and mouth and and goes into Frost. As the beam leaves Caine he falls to the ground still unconsious revocering as his body normally would. *

FrostXero: Damn I'm only at 75% power!

*Frost said looking at his hands. He then hears mangus Voice.*

"Mangus:FEAR SHALL POWER MY FLAMES!!!"

*As he said that He sees Mangus's fear cannon coming towards him.*

FrostXero: But good enough to teleport.

*Frost teleports again(with Caine in hand) and sees sano trying to pummel mangus but clearly has no effect.Then he sees the move simalir to what goku used to break Caines jaw at Mangus.*

FrostXero: Okay I only got one shot at this and I'ma make it count!AGHHH!!!!

*Frost flexes his muscules, An aura surrounds him a quick flash appears and Frost then suddenly glows with a brite white light, frost as turned full-forbiddian. He then gets in postion as if he is abotu to launch an energy wave of some sort.*

FrostXero: Okay Mangus I'm gonna make this one count!

*Frost has his hands postioned infront of him. He makes a circle with his hands creating an orb half way through it.He crabs it and holds it towards his waist. As it grows he compresses it more.*

FrostXero: SANO! GOKU MOVE OUT THE DAMN WAY!This is 50% of my current power! I'm gonna put a little extra spice on this Hyper beam!

*A gigantic grey halo appears Before Frost. The compressed orb Frost had to his waist suddenly is as big as his torso.*

FrostXero: GIGA-HYPER BEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Frost releases the orb.Its compressed form is suddenly realsed after the beam goes though the halo coming out in a massive destuctive energy headed toward mangus.*

[Vegeta]

Magnus catches the Nyoibo in one hand, and the Hyper beam in the other. The Giga Hyper Beam doesn't dispell however, giving cause for alarm.

SANO: "......eh?"

Magnus tosses his end of the Nyoibo up into the air, causing Goku to be taken off guard. He then takes his new weapon, flies up and breaks it into Goku's abdomen.

MAGNUS: "FEEL THE STING OF YOUR ALLIES!"

The Giga-Hyper Beam sends Goku packing a few yards before detonating. Goku did survive however.

[Tasuke]

Goku hits the ground hard, toppling and rolling to his feet. Spatting to the side, the nyoibo, which had been knocked from his grasp, dissapears with a flash.

Goku: "That all ya got?!"

Goku rushes at Mangus. He leaps up for a flying-sidekick to the stomache, then whips around for a backkick to the chest, whilst still air-bourne. Twisting around, he goes for a punch to the face.

[FrostXero]

[Forbiddian]FrostXero:Damn it you wern't supposed to bat it away like a base ball!

*Frost starts panting heavily.*

[Forbiddian]FrostXero:Damn I'm using too much energy!

*Frost powers down to his regular form.*

FrostXero:Damn, Armored warlord. HEY MANGUS MA CHAO CALLED AND HE WANTS HIS LOOK BACK!

Kira:Frost thats it!

Violet:His armor it seems to nulify any elemental attack!

FrostXero:Hmm so you mean under that armorhes a soft squishy butterball?

Kira: I wouldnt say that.

FrostXero: Okay, HEY GUYS! IF WE CAN BREAK MANGUS ARMOR WE MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE!

[Vegeta]

RED: "AND WHAT TH' HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT WITH?!"

SANO: "I'm with Red... I've exhausted most of my energy... and he can hardly stand on his own, let alone fight..."

RED: "I wish Ryuusei was here.... he'd be able to atleast figh evenly with that guy...."

SANO: ".....so can Goku...."

Magnus deflects the attacks with his hands and forearms, blocking off each kick.

RED: "Huh?"

SANO: "Goku can match him blow for blow if not for that armor..."

RED: "Yeh... but he DOES have the armor.. thus the problem."

SANO: "Mhmm....and a large problem indeed."

WISP: 'If only you had some power left... you could atleast transform and TRY to break his armor....'

SANO: "....I know.... If Magnus hadn't forced me into my altered state, Horikal, I could have used my maximum power and shown you all a new skill. I call it Super Sano... now I won't be able to do it..."

RED: ".....dammit all... that armor is a serious issue..."

SANO: ".........yep."

[Tasuke]

Upon landing, Goku attempts to sweep Magnus, then instantly springs upwards, twisting himself and throwing his momentum into a jump spinning inside-kick aimed at the side of his head. Clearly, Goku was intent on ending Magnus's life.

[Vegeta]

Magnus decides that blocking would be a waste of time, so during Goku's attacks he teleports behind him using the Wind/Fire gate. He smashes Goku in the back, sending him flying. He rushes after him and meets Goku mid-flight and begins to deliver s barrage of punches and kicks.

WISP: 'Sano, I'll integrate with you.'

SANO: "What's that?"

WISP: 'Shamans use it to increase their power and abilities. I have no abilities that would be outstanding in comparison to the ones you already have, but my own energy should be enough for you to transform to that...Super Sano thing....'

SANO: "Great, how do we do it?"

WISP: 'I'll do it.'

Wisp goes into Sano, integrating with him.

RED: "...did it work....?"

SANO: "Yeh, it sure did. I can feel an immense rush of power now.... I'm almost at my own maximum... enough to become Super Sano and max out my energy."

RED: "Go for it then...."

SANO: "Right..."

A violet aura surrounds Sanosuke, and his hair begins to flicker between black and blue. In a final burst of energy, his hair remains blue and his eyes are a goldish color. His skin in small areas changes to the same color as Horikal, but for the most part he looks like the normal Sano.

S.SANO: "Alright... now I'll help Goku break that armor...."

He runs after Goku and Magnus.

[Tasuke]

Goku is caught off gaurd, and sent hurdling forewards. Taking a punch or two; Goku starts blocking them, one or two kicks and punches get through. He starts returning punches and kicks of his own.

[Vegeta]

Magnus matches Goku blow for blow, and vice versa.

S.SANO: "Goku! Stand back! I'm going to shatter his armor!"

Magnus' attention is taken by this, and he looks over to Sano. The result is Goku connecting flat on his jaw sending him flying several yards back.

[Tasuke]

Goku ignores Sano's request. And lunges at Magnus, lashes out with his claws.

[Vegeta]

RED: "GOKU! BACK OFF! Take a breather kid!"

S.SANO: "....thanks..."

Goku halts and Super Sano takes over.

S.SANO: "Yo... I'll be your opponent now."

MAGNUS: "I SHOULD HAVE EXPLOITED THAT POWER FOR MY OWN USE. YOU HID IT WELL."

S.SANO: "Yeh, I know. It wasn't all that hard though..."

Magnus merely flares his flaming aura, and races to Super Sano. In response, Super Sano teleports to meet Magnus halfway, catching him off guard. They exchange blows repeatedly, the both of the taking a fair amount of damage from the other's attacks. Super Sano backs off.

S.SANO: "I have to hand it to you. You're quite strong. I'm hardly able to keep up with you..... wanna go some more?"

Magnus and Super Sano clash once again, but this time for the final blow Super Sano grabs Magnus' leg and uses it to throw him into a large boulder, cracking his armor signifigantly.
Super Sano rushes in and performs an elbow dive that would destroy the remainder of the armor. In a fury Magnus maxes his power and slams Super Sano around like a rag doll before finally tossing him into the air and landing a massive Hellshot into his chest. Super Sano lands with a thud. Though he remains conscious and still poses a threat.

S.SANO: "You can tell Goku to take over now... I'm gettin' tired...."

RED: "....yeh, no problem.... Ok Goku! Take it away!"

Super Sano releases wisp, and reverts back to normal.

SANO: "He has my vote."

The battle worn, scuffed and bruised warrior stands beside Red observantly.

[Tasuke]

Goku: "Not so tough without protection now are you...? Hm, you're finished."

Goku lifts an arm; the sleeve of his shirt flickers. His entire outfit starts changing, as the star takes shape before his hand. Deepening his stance, bracing for the power he's about to unleash. He quietly starts muttering a curse; lifting his other hand, as the rest of the star takes shape. The wind starts picking up, a vortex pushing outward from the star, that was to channel the energy. Light particles are drawn towards it; as fire outlines the star.

Goku: "I'll see you in hell!"

The energy is released instantly, all billowing out from the star. Goku pours the remainder of his energy into it. The light and energy is blinding, the heat is incredible The mass of light and swirling fire, heads directly at Magnus...

[Vegeta]

Magnus responds with his own Ultimate, "Burned Expansion Vortex". This is far superior even to his "Fire Brand" Ultimate. The two attacks collide.

MAGNUS: "YOUR POWER IS GONE, BUT MINE IS NOT. YOU SHALL DIE!"

SANO: "Dammit! He's right! Goku'll be obliterated! Wisp, integrate with me one more time! That's all I ask!"

WISP: 'You got it.... but I'll disappear and I won't be able to come back for awhile.... perhaps a few months even.'

SANO: "If you don't hurry up you'll have no where to come back to!"

WISP: 'Right....'

Wisp integrates with Sano one last time and he once again becomes Super Sano.
He rushes to Goku's side.

S.SANO: "I'm here to help you.... so be nice...."

RED: "Don't fight him, kid..... let 'im help..."

Super Sano places his hands in front of him.

S.SANO: "Sorry Magnus... but the combined powers of these two attacks will surely end you."

S.SANO: "SHINING!"

A large dome of bright light surrounds Super Sano and Goku, allowing Goku's attack to go through. The Shining attack along with Goku's attack push it all back to Magnus. Now Magnus will suffer his attack, Goku's attack, and that of Super Sano.

A quick flash, and a crackle. Magnus is on his knees. Light appears to be breaking through his flesh and his clothing.

MAGNUS: "MY FINAL WORDS SHALL END YOU ALL, FOR THEY BRING ABOUT THE TIME OF DESTRUCTION. HENCE I SEND UPON THEE MY CURSE SO THAT THIS LAND OF GAEASEI MAY NOT SEE PEACE. MY SHADOW SHALL CROSS THIS LAND AND FIND ITS HOST. VERILY I SAY YOU SHALL FIND THIS HOST IN THE SNOWY REGIONS, IN THE LAND OF LORE, EAST OF THE ARGOS SEA. THERE SHALL YOU SEE DEATH UNADULTERATED. FOR THIS HOST FAR SURPASSES MY OWN POWER. YOU FAILED TO MEET HIM THIS BATTLE BECAUSE EVEN I, MAGNUS RE'TALUS FEAR THIS DEMON, FOR HE IS THE HEIR TO MY LEGACY."

Magnus' head is lowered in defeat.... in a whispering voice Magnus utters his last words, and releases his last breath.

MAGNUS: "...and unto you, my 'faithful' servant.. a parting gift....."

A massive shadow arises from Magnus, and all evil within his heart takes flight to the land of Lore. This dying Magnus, with his renewed soul leaves the world of Gaeasei, and his body turns to ash. Goku has passed out from the lack of energy, and Red walks over to him.
Once there he replaces the diadem, watching Goku's features revert to normal. Red stands to his feet. Still looking at Goku, and the pile of ash that was once a Demon Warlord, Red speaks to Super Sano.

RED: "So, do you think that was it?"

S.SANO: "...........no."

Super Sano supresses his energy and reverts to normal, releasing the Wisp from his body.
The wisp takes flight to the sky and vanishes.

SANO: "No I don't think it's over at all. But for now it is. How long will our peace last? I don't know."

Red and Sano lay on the ground, an area that was once called Mishima.

RED: "...what do you think that parting gift he talked about is?"

SANO: "Not sure.... I don't see anything....Hey Frost! You and Caine ok?"

He looks up to see Frost wave acknowledgingly.

Elsewhere, atop Tetsuyama, a disgruntled Mindfreak stands alone. Suddenly a voice is heard from behind him.

KORISENSHI: "YO! We were sent back here once again.... to deal with a coward."

HIKARISENSHI: "We're here to take you out, compliments of Magnus."

MIZUSENSHI: "One last message from his Lordship.... He doesn't like cowards one bit... so he told me to tell you this...'A coward that seeks reward finds only death.'.... I guess he meant us."

The Senshi Team surrounds Mindfreak, and slowly draw closer to him.
