Sull thinks a moment, then answers. Sull: 'This is strange. I can't ask the wind for answers... and I still don't really know who you are. Guess this just got complicated. Tell me where Lord Sano is, and I will meet with him. And you...' He sits down, pondering his situation. ------------------------- Sylf is still smiling. He is not easily frightened. Sylf: "Wonderful... ready to die again?" He swings his blade from left to right. Sylf: "You have not yet witnessed all of my power, fool. It seems I must admit some skill on your part, though." ------------------------ Wraknorian: "I seek Lord Ryuusei... where can he be found? I have urgent matters to discuss." He looks at the soldier, impatiently, nervously shifting his weight from foot to foot. ------------------------ Miorix: "Town meeting? Sounds interesting... it's about this whole Tolgrim story, right?" He follows Red, walking his usual light walk. His steps almost seem a bit silly, as he seems to bounce from one foot to the other.

Link just walks along, he seemed to know perfectly well where he was headed. Goku justs hops about, following Red. It wasn't hard to tell where the meeting was taking place, everyone in sight was headed towards the town square. Link arrives at their destination, followed closely by Red, Goku, and Miorix.
LINK: 'Looks like we're just in time.'
Link's voice cut through the chatter of townsfolk, in Red's mind.
Goku has a big smile plastered on his face, glancing from side to side at the random townsfolk, staring frequently.

Tepes watches Sylf with a smile, not moving.
TEPES: "...die again? Hah hah.. can you kill what is already dead? I am nosferatu... the undead.... Heh heh.... if you can kill that which is dead, then show me."
Tepes pces forward a bit.
TEPES: "...So... I've not seen your full power yet, hm? Interesting. And I appreciate you acknowledging that I have some skill."
Tepes continues his grinning.
TEPES: "But really. How can you determine how much or how little skill I have when I have shown you nothing?"
Tepes just stares Sylf in the eyes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WISP: 'My apologies. I would tell you where to find Lord Sano, but I cannot. He told me if I came into contact with any of you, to keep my distance and not reveal myself. But things are different since the Tolgrim has been mentioned.' -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Red pushes through the crowd until he is as close to the Prophet as he chooses to be.
RED: "So do any of you guys know about that Tolgrim thing?"
Of course he knew they wouldn't. It was merely just a question for small talk.
And old man is in the crowd holding a strange box. He too begins to listen to the Prophet. The Prophet begins to speak at the meting, glorifying the Tolgrim in all ways.

Sylf remains unmoved, and mockingly applauds Tepes when he finishes speaking. Sylf: "I can see that my swordsmanship means little to you. You heal too easily." Sylf: 'How often could he heal himself...?' He thrusts Shadowbolt into the ground and creates one shadow orb in each hand. ----------------- Sull: 'What IS going on? I don't understand what is happening. The prophet's a fraud, you say...?' Sull gets lost in his endless train of thought, pondering who is trying to get an advantage out of the situation, why, and what he should do, now. ----------------- Miorix: "Eh, only what he said." He looks for the prophet, and points in his general direction.

The spirit continues it's conversation with Sull.
WISP: 'Yes... A False Prophet.... his words are malice coated in sugar to fit the palate of the people. If they knew the Tolgrim was wicked, why would they search for it? Thus, he sweetens the image of the weapon to appeal to the others.' ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tepes sheathes his Impaler and takes a nonchalant stance towards Sylf.
TEPES: "If you're going to do it, hurry and do it. I can find other ways to occupy my time." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RED: "Bah... This Tolgrim sounds to good to be true.... T' hell with that. You guys can stick around if you wanna, but I'm gone."

LINK: 'Yeh, it does sound too good to be true. Regardless, I'm going to see if I can pick anything up. This prophet.... I can't get into his head, it's a bit suspicious. I'll catch up with you later.'
Link nods in acknowledgement, along with his telepathic message.
GOKU: "Bye!"
The youkai waves at Link, following Red, Link just nods in acknowledgement.

Sull: 'What do you suggest? That I spread this news, that I attack him, or that I attack those trying to retrieve the tolgrim?' He ponders the possibilities, and ponders what he actually wants to do. Sull: 'I don't know whether I want this to be my fight...' ----------------------------------------- Sylf: "Stop this nonsensical chatter..." He sends a higher powered lightning bolt at point blank range, then stares back, his arrogant smile still on his face. Sylf: "You really wish to see yourself destroyed? How about... I take most of the town with you?" He flies upwards, grins, and starts gathering power for his ultimate, preparing to unbalance the entire area's electricity and magick. He shouts down at Tepes. Sylf: "I almost feel sorry for you." He looks at the townspeople, many of whom are fleeing, then mutters a couple of words to himself. Sylf: "Not them, though..." --------------------------------- Miorix: "Heh, ya think so? I dunno, but ya know, if the blade does exist, it's gotta be worth trying. Eh, don't feel like risking anything right now. Want a drink? My head's better now. Or... how 'bout a game of dice or somethin'?" He smiles at Red, his eyes somewhat clouded in his usual dreamy, happy-go-lucky manner.

The wisp speaks to Sull with a tone of concern.
WISP: 'No... it would do no good to inform the citizens... they would take the word of a prophet over yours. And since they cannot see me and won't hear me, I can't help you..... And attacking the prophet would be suicide... as I mentioned he is no prophet. The 'prophet' is the successor the Mephisto's army... When Magnus Re'talus was slain, he was the next in line.' ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tepes watches Sylf powering up his attack with a smile on his face.
TEPES: "Heh... you seem to think I'd care if they all died. I wouldn't. If they need someone to constantley defend them, then they have no right to exist. What you do to them is trivial to me."
Tepes phases out and phases in behind Sylf. He adjusts his sunglasses.
TEPES: "Although I'm not going to allow you to just kill them and think you're going to live. I mean... if you kill ALL of them, then you're all that's left besides me... so then in order to stay amused I'd have to kill you. And killing just you probably won't entertain me for long... I hope you see the problem now that I've explained it to you. Well, if you must kill them do so quickly so I can finish you off and go home. The earlier I get back the more time I have to find something entertaining." -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Red looks over to Miorix with a stern glare.
RED: "...dice?"
He then smiles.
RED: "We'll play a drinkin' game! C'mon to th' tavern!"
Red dashes off in the direction of the tavern.

Sylf turns to Tepes and stops charging his attack. He frowns, then grins. Sylf: "If you used this on you at this range, I doubt either of us would survive. I'll call it a draw - if you attack me now, I'll have to destroy us both." He looks down at the town. Sylf: "Go have fun, then. Until someday." Sylf flies off, amused at Tepes and angered at the fact that he wouldn't have won. --------------------------------------------- Sull: 'Great. I guess I'll just intercept those seeking the Tolgrim then. There is nothing else I can do...? And what about Lord Ryuusei?' --------------------------------------------- Miorix: "Sounds good!" He smiles a dreamy smile, then runs after Red. ---------------------------------------------- Wraknorian enters the biggest building he can find, and calls out for Ryuusei.

Tepes watches Sylf fly off.
TEPES: "...odd. He believes he could have won...."
Tepes phases out again and returns to his dwelling. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WISP: 'It would be best not to intercept those seeking the Tolgrim. They make take it the wrong way. However. Something else will be coming up soon, and it would be best to follow that path. The TRUE Legendary weapon will be revealed soon, and the one that will quest for it will need your assistance. Meanwhile, seek out the tavern. And I doubt Ryuusei will do much good for you. With his blinded sense of justice we would just as soon seek the Tolgrim in hopes of bringing a better peace.' ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A guard walks over to Wraknorian.
GUARD: "How goes it, and welcome to Keiga! If you're looking for Lord Ryuusei, please head downstairs to the library. He seems to be there more often than not these days."

Sull: 'Okay... I guess I'll believe you for now. What are you going to do, though?' He starts walking off towards the tavern. ------------------------------ Wraknorian: "Thank you." He bows, and leaves to the library. Wraknorian: "Lord... Ryuusei?" ------------------------------ Miorix asks the clerk for a couple of dice. Miorix: "okay... so we both start with five dice, and try to get the highest number possible, but we also try to get a four and a two, unless you actually get..." Miorix babbles on about the rules, probably boring Red to death. Miorix: "You understand?" He smiles.

The two enter the tavern.
WISP: 'There's nothing we can do now but wait. Why not play a game with those over there? Look, Mr. Red is there too.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ryuusei Amidamaru is beside stack after stack of books. None of which seem to be for entertainment, but rather for reference. The tired looking Daiou doesn't look up from the books he'd been reading when Wraknorian walked in.
RYUUSEI: "...Waraknorian...."
He turns the page and reads on. After clearing a few paragraphs he stops and looks up, thinking.
RYUUSEI: ".....hm..."
He resumes reading the book.
RYUUSEI: "What is it, Wraknorian?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Red looks slightly dumbfounded over the explantion of the game.
RED: "......uh... Yeh, I got it."

An old blind woman emerges from the crowd gathering around the Prophet. Hunched over, she staggers along, using a cane for assistance, and her large, tattered cloak does well to conceal the two hand axes hooked in the woman's belt. She wears a semi-transparent black cloth around her sightless eyes. She moves slowly through the crowd, often offering loud apologies as she bumped into various people. As she nears Link, she trips and falls against him. Her hand deftly reaches around and soundlessly unhooks his purse from his belt. She slips it into her sleeve as she awkwardly rights herself, her hand on Link's shoulder.
"OLD WOMAN": Oh, excuse me, young man. I just don't know which way I'm going, I apologize.
With that, she steadies herself again and begins to hobble towards the tavern. When she enters, the cloak and black cloth are removed, revealing a lovely young woman with excellent vision. She strides over to the bar and slaps down the purse.
JAITENA: Barkeep! Give me a pint of your darkest ale, please.

Link just stares at the old woman, nodding in acknowledgement. He smirked to himself, turning back towards the prophet. He hangs around for a few more moments, listening to whatever else to prophet had to say. As soon as the 'old woman' reveals herself, a loud voice that cuts through the chatter within the taver; and echoes in her mind, the tone of the voice is obviously amused.
LINK: 'Nice try.'
The boy from before, the one she stole from, was sitting in a chair next to her. An amused grin plastered acrossed his face. The barkeep looks at the girl with an odd expression, after checking the contents of the so called 'purse'.
BARKEEP: "Whaddya think 'dis place is, we don't accept knives!"
LINK: "I'll take those."
The barkeep looks at him for a moment, then back to the girl. He then tosses Link's pouch of kunai back to him. Link catches the pouch, and slipps it back around his thigh. Link never had a purse, nor a belt for that matter.
LINK: "Good effort, though."
He smiles, tossing her a few coins; which he produced from his pocket. He catches sight of Red and Goku, and approaches their table. He sits down, getting ready to tell them about what he had learned from the Prophet....
