Name: Ilphae Ravindra (Il-fay Rah-veen-drah)
Nickname: The closest thing she has to a nickname is "Lady Ilphae", though this isn't so much a nickname as as it is a formal title.
Gender: Female
Age: 315
Race: Drow
Weight: 115 lbs
Height: 5'3"
Alignment: Neutral (leaning towards evil)
Class/Occupation: Rogue (with some clerical talent)
Appearance: A drow female stands on a balcony overlooking a subterranean city. Her hair hangs in a silver curtain down her back and a crystal circlet adorns her brow. On her belt hangs a scourge of three twisting viper heads, a small crossbow, and two leather pouches holding throwing knives and poisoned darts respectively. Her clerical robes, dedicated to the godess of the drow, seem somehow displaced from her person as a whole. Her piercing red eyes resemble stained and broken glass.
Eyes: deep red
Hair: long, with silvery tones. she wears it down as opposed
Skin: smooth and dark, darkening to an ebony black around her eyes
Voice/Accent: she speaks in a heavy drow accent, which sounds exotic to foreign ears. she can manipulate her tone to fit her needs
Body Build: slender and muscular, with a well-proportioned figure
Clothes/Armor: She wears her clerical vestiments (a long, silvery robe made from spiders' silk) and occasionally a black cloak over a shirt of magically-crafted, skintight armor, a leather skirt, and supple leather boots. Her circlet grants her a number of spell-like abilities.
Weapons: A zhurkwood crossbow with 50 poisoned bolts, a pouch of 10 adamantine throwing blades, and a viper headed whip with 3 tails. The whip was assigned to her upon becoming a priestess; the crossbow, bolts, and knives were bought by her in the marketplace of her hometown, Khal'Torack. The crossbow is not very powerful, but is easy to aim. The bolts are coated with a powerful neurotoxin. The whip is 4' without the heads; 5' with the heads.
Extra Items: When leaving the city she always carries several days' provisions, and potions for healing wounds. These are carried in a small pack on her back. She will sometimes carry a brightly flashing crystal pendant taken from a business trip to the surface. The pendant has minor elemental powers, but she rarely takes it out because its flashing colored light would draw too much attention to her.
Spells/Abilities: The circlet gives her several abillities; the ability to see through lesser illusions, to see through magical darkness, and to partially see through invisibility. A pendant she owns and carries on long trips gives her a very minor control of the elements (she can start small fires, conjure a small cup of water, create a gust of wind, or sculpt a crude stone tool). All drow share three basic magical abilities: the ability to summon faerie fire, levitation, and the ability to summon a globe of magical darkness. As a priestess she cared very little about healing or offensive spells and instead focused more on manipulation spells and enchantments.
Weaknesses: If she looses the circlet, she looses her spell-like abillities, but retains her skills as a rogue, and the few clerical spells that she has; if she takes out the pendant, she risks drawing attention to herself and becoming easily spotted by enemies and predators. While she has had experience on the surface world and does not become completely blinded by sunlight, it dizzies her and hinders her aim. As far as emotional weakness goes, she becomes very uncomfortable around open displays of affection. She cannot handle the idea of being close to another without getting something in return, seeing this in and of itself as a fatal emotional weakness. She becomes very suspicious of those who would use the words "friendship", "love", or "trust".
Goals: She has very few definitive goals in life, outside of eliminating personal flaws (such as she sees them). What other goals she does have depend on her current situation.
Parental Status: Her mother is the queen of a powerful noble house and a highly respected priestess. Her father was disposed of shortly before she was born.
Religion: Was once a practicing priestess, before she deemed faith in a deity as a dangerous weakness.
History: She fell from the godess's grace the day her older sister, a cleric of considerable power, was assasinated by an apprentice wanting a higher place in the clerical hierarchy, making Ilphae the First Daughter of the House. For over a year Ilphae brooded on this fact, and came to the conclusion that she would never put the key to her strength into the hands of a fickle deity. Determined to fix this grievous error in thinking, she tried her hand at many trades, finally deciding to commit to the ways of a rogue as an assasin and smuggler of illegal goods. Now she has taken up the path of the adventurer, to avoid suspicion of heresy from her house.
