"Nirvana: Home of the Gods" (As written in the "Chronicles Of Gaeasei" by Lodric, great historian/sorceror)
DATE: Dawn Of Time
"Long ago, in Nirvana, the gods gathered in the courtyard of the 'Chamber Of Galvas', the meeting place of the gods when choices had to be made.
On this day, an idea was brought forth by Chronos, God of Time.
He spoke to the fellow gods, bringing forth the idea of building a planet. So Galvas, the supreme deity, took to the parchment, and enscribed his instructions.
The gods took the parchment and began to work. The High Angel, Mephisto, helped over-see the construction.
Rook, with his body of fire, created the hardened earth forging the core from spirit energy. Gate, with her prosperity, created the grass and the tress, and all other plant life.
Chronos, with his power over time, seperated Night and Day. Galvas looked at the creation, and with his wisdom, filled the land with animals and beasts.
And he called this creation Gaeasei.
That day the Golden Land glowed brightly as the angels and gods rejoiced over the work. Once the first Night fell upon Gaeasei, Galvas lifted his mighty hand.
With that, a golden ray lept from the edge of Nirvana, stretched across the Golden Land, and fell upon Gaeasei, linking the three dimensions together.
The gods returned to Nirvana, and the High Angel Mephisto was set forth to traverse the many miles of Gaeasei, to inspect the creation.
As he spread his large wings, his mind began to corrupt, filling his head with thoughts of malice. 'Gaeasei is useless to a god. Even if otherwise, they could easily create yet another.
This world will be mine'. Mephisto later returned to Nirvana and spread word of his thoughts. Many angels joined forces with Mephisto, and hundreds of years later they rebelled against the gods.
In the end, the twisted acts of Mephisto were put to a stop. Their punishment was to be decided by Mael, God of Justice.
'Let it come to pass as I say it to be. Mephisto and his Troupe will rule over Gaeasei. To compensate, they will never be allowed to touch foot upon the Golden Land, or have the shadow of their wings cast upon the grounds of Nirvana'.
With this, Mephisto and his band were exiled from Nirvana and the Golden Land. Mael, with his great gavel of justice, smashed the golden bridge linking the three worlds, and Mephisto and his horde had become known as 'Demon', or 'Fallen Angel'.
Centuries later, Galvas calls forth another meeting in the Chamber. The gods quickly assemble, and Galvas brings forth his new idea. 'Let the land be ruled not by Demon, but by man'.
The gods agreed, and thus man was created. However, Mephisto, lord of the Demons, attacked the humans, and found their mortality to be quite limited.
As a result the new High Angel, Crissaegrim, brought Magick to the humans so they could defend themselves. Mephisto was defeated, and retreated from Gaeasei. But many humans had already perished. Galvas brought forth another idea to the gods.
'Let he who dies in honor be brought forth to the Golden Land, to live forever in peace, and those who die with malice be sent to rot with Mephisto in the pits of Oblivion'. So Crissaegrim took his sword in hand, flew to the surface of Gaeasei, and slashed the world in two.
The two halves were seperated by life and death. One called Gaeasei, and the other Oblivion. Crissaegrim crafted an altar, and inserted the sword into it.
That sword was a covenant to commemorate the seperation of the worlds. The holy sword, Crissaegrim, exists to this day. It's location unknown, though many say it rests at the border of Gaeasei and the Golden Land, where the spirits of the Just and Good cross over for their eternal rest."
