Referees- Referees are Admin/Mods. They can not participate in battle as a Referee other than doing what Refs do. Where can a Ref. be called upon?
Grand Arena- It's totally optional, but the best way to go for a fair battle. Recommended in team battles.
Tournament- Mandatory. NO attack is successful until the referee decides.
Referees will not appear in quests or training.

Quest Handicaps
Chi Drain- This disables physical attacks. You'll have to rely entirely on Magick.
Mana Drain- This disables magickal attacks. You'll have to rely entirely on Physicals.
Anti-Armor- This disables any special effects your armor has attached to it. IE, if your Cascade Bracer has immunity to Water.... it doesn't now.
Immunity- Enemies have immunity to particular elements.
Higher Gaurd- Enemies are immune to certain weapon types. (Such as Sword, Pike, Staff, etc.)

Death. A possiblity?
Hence, it is possible for your character to be killed in a quest, whether by another PC, or by an NPC/Boss/Monster. If this should happen, your character can no longer be used. It will be sent to a new institute for fallen warriors. A new character will have to be used at that point. So do be careful about how your perform combat actions. This is law. Death prevades all forms of life, whether Fantasy, or reality. It's a common part of existing. And nothing lasts forever, thus existing must also end. Dying has many forms, however. Age, disease, forcible removal of life (I.E., murder). It's a natural thing. So then death must also exist so that the RP will become that much more realistic. Also it will give the RPers here more restraint over their actions. Sacrifice image, or sacrifice life. It's a situation many may be faced with as the RP ensues. Also be forewarned that killing another RPers character may eventually end the life of your character. So be cautious of the enemies you make.
Thanks to Atma for his Theta for RPs.
